Extract email addresses from text
Paste anything: an email thread, a page you copied, an export, notes. BounceLens pulls out every email address, removes the duplicates and checks each one, so you know which addresses are broken, mistyped or throwaway before you use them. Free, no signup, and your text stays in your browser.

Copy emails and Download without duplicates give every address found, once each. Download clean list also leaves out addresses that are broken, mistyped or throwaway.
What it finds
Any word that looks like an email address, wherever it sits in the text:
- Inside names and brackets:
"Jane Doe" <[email protected]>gives[email protected]. - In
To:andCc:lines separated by commas or semicolons. - Links like
mailto:[email protected], with themailto:removed. - At the end of a sentence: the full stop after
…write to [email protected].is not part of the address. - In CSV and text files: every cell with an address is read, whatever the column.
It skips what only looks a bit like an address: social handles like @acme, half addresses like user@, and web links with an @ in the path.
Then it checks every address
Most extractors stop at the list. BounceLens checks each address in the same step, so you don't send to ones that will fail:
- Duplicates are removed, including the same Gmail inbox written differently (
[email protected]and[email protected]). More on the duplicate remover. - Typos like
gmial.comare marked, with the fix. See the typo checker. - Dead domains that don't exist or can't receive email are marked invalid.
- Throwaway addresses like Mailinator are marked risky. See the disposable email checker.
How to use it
- Copy the text that has the addresses (select all in the email or document, then copy) and paste it in the box. Or upload a .csv or .txt file.
- Press Extract emails.
- Press Copy emails to get one address per line, ready to paste into a spreadsheet or your email tool. Or download them as a CSV.
Use the addresses fairly
An address you found is not permission to email it. For newsletters and marketing, laws like GDPR and CAN-SPAM expect people to have agreed to hear from you, and buying or scraping lists is the fastest way to spam complaints and a blocked domain. This tool is for tidying addresses you already have a reason to use: your own contacts, your customers, the people in a thread you are part of.
Questions
Can it extract emails from a website link?
No. It reads only the text you paste or the file you upload. To get addresses from a page, open it, select the text, copy it and paste it here.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The text is read in your browser. To check the domains, only the domain names (like acme.com) are looked up through public DNS, never the full addresses or the rest of your text.
Does it confirm the mailbox exists?
No. It checks format, domain, typos, throwaway domains and duplicates. Whether a specific inbox exists needs a mailbox check with the mail server; addresses that pass everything else are shown as "unconfirmed".
Is there a limit?
No signup and no daily limit. One run handles up to 20,000 addresses.
